This inspiring place has a great library with an extensive collection in the fields of music, dance, circus, arts education, arts therapies, research and related subjects, which you can use during your study.

If you want to borrow items from the library, you need to bring your college/staff card, this card is your library card as well.

RESTRICTION ON BORROWING
It's not possible to borrow if you have an unpaid late fee of € 5,- or more, or if you have received three reminders for items that are overdue. Your borrowing priviliges will be restored as soon as you have paid late fees and/or returned overdue items.
RETURNING LIBRARY ITEMS
Books can be returned at the library desk or, outside opening hours by putting them in the book deposit located next to the library entrance.
Returning library items after the due date will result in a late fee of € 0,10 per item per day.
Incomplete returns
Books that include supplements (e.g. parts or CDs) must be returned complete. If borrowed material is damaged or returned in an incomplete state, you will be charged for repair and/or replacement costs.
REMINDERS
A couple of days before you have to return borrowed library items, an e-mail will be sent to your Codarts email as a reminder. You can either bring back the items or extend the return date (íf the items are not reserved by another person and you didn't reach the maximum of extending 3 times).
If you fail to return an item by its due date, another reminder is sent​ to you. If you have not returned borrowed materials after receiving three reminders, you will be charged for the replacement costs of the item(s).
RENEWING & RESERVING
Items may be renewed maximum three times. You can't renew if an item has been reserved by someone else, the other borrower has priority.

Are you proud of your thesis and would you like to share it with the Codarts community and other interested parties?
Then publish it via one of Codarts' repositories (SURFsharekit or Research Catalogue).
If you meet the conditions of your study program, you will be invited by the thesis coordinator.

For almost all study programs, you may publish your thesis if the final grade is an 8 or higher.
